About the Mental Health Lead Roles.

The Designated Mental Health Lead Role was introduced as a result of the “Transforming children and young people’s mental health provision” green paper. The Department for Education are currently providing £1200 grants to cover the cost of training a Mental Health Lead in every eligible school and college in England.
