Frequently asked questions about the CPD modules and diploma

Haven’t I already completed these modules within my Mental Health Lead training?

The CPD sessions are significantly more practical and in-depth than the Mental Health Lead training.

Why have you chosen to cover the topics in more depth?

When writing the guidelines for the Mental Health Lead training the DfE prescribed a lot of coverage which meant that we were not able to go into much depth and topics were ‘skimmed’.

What will I get out of this training?

This training will offer practical and in depth knowledge around each subject, you can find the requirements under each topic on the course page.

I want a Diploma is this as much work as the portfolio?

No – The Diploma itself is about providing evidence of having completed the modules, rather than the very lengthy portfolio as for the Mental Health Lead training.

          How much will this cost?

There are four modules at £245 +VAT. Diploma registration and assessment fee of £345 +VAT.

Can I just do one session?

Absolutely – you can attend any of the sessions as a one off there is no requirement to complete or pay for the Diploma.
